NITEpod CARBON tripod are designed like any skyscraper building. Always thicker from the bottom! The leg tube of the NITEpod CARBON tripods consists of three carbon fiber tubes of different thicknesses. The lowest CARBON carbon fiber tube that comes against the ground has a diameter of 36mm (thickest). The middle tube has a diameter of 32mm. The top tube has a diameter of 28mm and is attached to a clamp jaw equipped with a ball joint. The ingenious structure guarantees the most stable support possible!
The ball joint head of the NITEpod CARBON tripod is equipped with two (2) different 360° smooth rotating joints, which can both be individually rotated open and closed! A very useful feature in fast situations. The ball joint also allows for stepless up and down tilts.
NITEpod CARBON tripod jaw clamps any weapon in a hands-free mode and frees your hands when shooting. The jaws open up to 80mm in an open position. On the tripods, the weapon is clamped to the 360° smooth rotating and ball jointed aluminum clamp, which tightens to the desired position in an instant. The grip surfaces of the clamp jaw are rubber-coated, which protects the stock of your valuable weapon.
The adjustable shooting height range (30 – 165cm) allows shooting from lying down, sitting, kneeling or standing. Non-slip locks ensure quick locking and releasing.
The Arca-Swiss Mount quick release system allows you to attach and change optical devices back to the clamp jaw when needed. The mounting system allows you to attach other optical devices to the tripod, such as telescopes, thermal cameras, etc.
NITEpod CARBON TriPod also have interchangeable foot spikes (3 included) if the standard rubber feet are not suitable for the weather or terrain.
