Spotting scope housing (only the tube, without the eyepiece!)
The bright "EDX 82c" spective front lens with oblique view has a diameter of 82 mm, and 2 different eyepieces can be assigned to it. Their variable magnification is 20-60 times and 25-50 times, respectively. They differ primarily in their viewing angle. Both versions can be classified as wide-angle (35-21 m or 42-27 m), which significantly facilitates the detection of the object.
Seize the moment
The replacable eyepieces can be attached to the tube with a bayonet connection. The bayonet lock is compatible with the eyepieces of the world's leading optical manufacturers. This offers flexible application options to users of the "EDX 82c". For example, analog and digital SLR cameras can be connected to the "EDX 82c" with special adapters. This also allows for quick and easy switching between observation and photography.
Contrast optics
The built-in ED-fluoride lenses guarantee the sharpest contours and a bright and true-to-color image. A large exit pupil diameter of 4.1 mm ensures fatigue-free observation. Apochromatic correction guarantees a reflection-free image even in backlight. The DDlucid coating - already proven in the DDoptics binoculars of the EDX series - ensures maximum contrast, image sharpness, brightness and brilliance. The convenient two-level focusing system allows for coarse and fine focus adjustment.
Robust and lightweight
The stable housing of the "EDX 82c" is 330 mm long, compact and equipped with a non-slip rubber coating, which ensures adhesion and safe holding. Using light and stable magnesium, the scope weighs only 1,350 g (without eyepiece). The tube of the EDX 82c is filled with nitrogen, so it is guaranteed waterproof. A special dirt-repellent coating ensures that water droplets roll off it.
