The Olight i5T is a handy companion for everyday use, it is small, light and, as we are used to from Olight lamps, it has a brightness that belies its size. It has two levels, 300 lumens and 15 lumens. At high level, it can illuminate 60 meters.
The lamp is powered by a single AA battery or battery, which is not the champion of capacity, but it is small and light, cheap and available anywhere, yet it can power the lamp for up to 2 hours. As usual from Olight, due to the lamp head heating up over time at the highest setting, the brightness automatically decreases in a programmed manner, so with the factory accessory battery it maintains 300 lumens for the first 3 minutes, then gradually changes to 150 lumens, which it can maintain for up to 25 minutes, while in continuous operation it can be detached for 30 lumen brightness, which it can maintain for another 2 hours.
It is very easy to use, the switch at the end of the lamp is used to turn it on and off, as well as to switch between the two levels.
With its double-bent belt clip, it can be attached to a trouser belt and also holds firmly on a hat, so it can also be used as an occasional headlamp.
