Thermacell's outdoor mosquito repellent effectively keeps mosquitoes and other insects away within the device's 21 m² range. Mosquitoes are kept away by a tile coated with a special material, which starts to evaporate as a result of heating. A small butane bottle heats the wafer, which is located inside the device. Turning it on is very simple, depending on the type, by turning the device housing. When the device is switched off, heating stops, evaporation stops, so the tile can be used again until it dries out.
One tile provides a pleasant, mosquito-free environment for 4 hours, and one cartridge can heat for 12 hours. Inside the Halo mini, there is an additional container, which enables the storage of tiles that have not yet been used. This must be used only after the device has been switched off and cooled down!
