The APO-SKOPAR 75mm F2.8 VM is a manual focus medium telephoto lens optimised for full-frame M-mount sensors. Its newly designed optical system employs anomalous dispersion glass in four of its seven elements across six groups. This achieves exceptional image quality through an apochromatic design that minimises axial chromatic aberration to near-zero levels. Furthermore, its simple construction featuring a single lens element that extends and its maximum aperture of F2.8 result in a compact overall length of just 44mm from the mount and a filter diameter of φ43mm, comparable to a standard lens. Weighing a light 191g, it offers excellent portability while eliminating vignetting in the frame when used with optical rangefinder cameras.
This lens is designed for use with rangefinder-coupled digital and film cameras. It incorporates a high-precision rangefinder coupling mechanism, offering a silky smooth operation via its all-metal helicoid ring, allowing you to experience the true pleasure of focusing with a traditional optical rangefinder. The minimum focusing distance when coupled with the rangefinder is 0.7m (varies depending on the camera body). It can also be mounted on Sony E-mount, Fujifilm X-mount, and Nikon Z-mount digital cameras via our mount adapter. Two exterior finishes are available: silver and black. A dedicated dome-shaped metal hood, designed with a minimal protrusion of just 3mm to prevent interference with the image frame when mounted, is included.
