BRESSER NANO AR-80/640 AZ telescope

The BRESSER NANO AR-80/640 AZ is a compact and easy-to-use refractor telescope designed for discovering the night sky and taking the first steps into serious astronomical observation. Its 80 mm aperture collects enough light to reveal fine details on the Moon as well as bright planets and a variety of deep-sky objects.

With its relatively short 640 mm focal length and f/8 focal ratio, the telescope offers a versatile optical system with a generous field of view. This makes it particularly suitable for observing large open star clusters, rich star fields and impressive regions of the Milky Way.

80 mm achromatic optics

The telescope features an 80 mm achromatic objective with MgF2-coated optics. Compared with a 70 mm refractor, the 80 mm aperture gathers approximately 31% more light, making fainter objects easier to detect and revealing more detail on the Moon and planets.

The supplied 26 mm BRESSER Super Plössl eyepiece provides 25x magnification. With suitable optional eyepieces, the manufacturer's recommended maximum magnification is 160x.

Easy-to-use NANO AZ mount

The supplied BRESSER NANO AZ alt-azimuth mount offers straightforward and intuitive operation. The telescope can be moved easily in both horizontal and vertical directions, making it particularly suitable for beginners.

A sturdy stainless-steel field tripod provides a stable base. The tripod spreader also serves as a convenient accessory tray while helping to reduce unwanted vibrations during observation.

For night-time and solar observation

The BRESSER NANO AR-80/640 AZ can be used for more than just observing the night sky. The package includes a high-quality aperture solar filter that, when correctly installed and used, allows safe observation of sunspots, solar eclipses and planetary transits.

Never observe the Sun through a telescope without a suitable and correctly installed solar filter. Always check the supplied solar filter for damage before use and ensure that it is securely fitted over the front aperture of the telescope.

Capture your observations

The included smartphone camera adapter makes it easy to capture images of objects such as the Moon using your mobile phone.

A T2 camera adapter ring (M42×0.75 mm) is also supplied, allowing a compatible DSLR or CCD camera to be connected to the focuser with the appropriate equipment. This provides a convenient option for high-resolution lunar photography using short exposure times.

Almost ready to use straight out of the box

The telescope arrives almost fully assembled and includes a comprehensive selection of accessories, so observations can begin quickly. The supplied red-dot finder helps you locate celestial objects, while the 90-degree diagonal mirror provides a more comfortable viewing position.

Thanks to its compact design, the NANO AR-80/640 AZ is suitable for both home use and travelling to darker observing locations.
