The Nocpix OMNI H35R is a high-performance multispectral binocular combining 8K digital daytime and night-time imaging, high-sensitivity thermal imaging, infrared illumination, laser rangefinding and ballistic functions in one compact device.
Its multispectral architecture allows the same binocular to be used for full-colour daytime observation, infrared-assisted digital night vision and thermal detection. This makes it possible to adapt to changing visibility and lighting conditions without changing devices.
8192 × 6144 8K digital sensor
The digital imaging channel is built around an 8192 × 6144 resolution 8K sensor with a 1.2 μm pixel pitch.
The sensor contains more than four times the pixel count of a conventional 4K system. The additional image information is particularly valuable when magnification is increased, helping preserve finer features such as fur, antlers, outlines and other small details.
50 mm F1.8 digital optics
A 50 mm F1.8 lens is used for the digital imaging channel. Its large aperture collects approximately 23% more light than an F2.0 system and around 49% more than F2.2, according to Nocpix.
Combined with Nocpix's proprietary ISP image processing, the digital channel is designed to provide useful image quality even in extremely low-light conditions down to approximately 0.001 lux. A 140 dB ultra-wide dynamic range helps maintain more balanced exposure in high-contrast scenes.
Three scene-specific image algorithms optimise image processing for daytime, twilight and low-light conditions.
Night vision with interchangeable 850/940 nm IR
For observation in darkness, the digital channel can be combined with the interchangeable 850/940 nm infrared illuminator.
The result is a single binocular capable of operating as a daytime digital optic, digital night-vision device and thermal imager.
640 × 512 thermal sensor – NETD ≤15 mK
The H35R features the higher-resolution thermal channel of the two OMNI models, using a 640 × 512, 12 μm thermal detector.
Its NETD ≤15 mK thermal sensitivity enables the system to distinguish very small temperature differences, helping reveal fine thermal detail even when contrast between the target and its surroundings is limited.
The 50 Hz refresh rate provides smooth imaging of moving subjects.
A 35 mm F0.9 thermal objective provides 2× base magnification and a 12.5 × 9.4° field of view, corresponding to approximately 21.9 × 16.5 metres at 100 metres.
The specified maximum thermal detection range is up to 1818 metres.
Fast switching and ergonomic controls
The OMNI has been designed so that switching between its different imaging channels requires minimal movement.
Digital and thermal focus controls are positioned for easy fingertip access, while the centrally positioned digital zoom wheel follows natural finger movement and allows magnification to be adjusted without changing grip.
A simplified four-button control layout makes operation more intuitive, including in darkness or when wearing gloves.
EIS electronic image stabilisation
Integrated electronic image stabilisation helps compensate for unwanted hand movement. This is especially useful when higher magnification is used, where image shake becomes significantly more noticeable.
Comfortable AMOLED viewing
Images are presented through a 0.5-inch 1600 × 1200 AMOLED display system.
The large 12 mm exit pupil makes it easier to find the full field of view and supports more comfortable observation during longer sessions.
Integrated 1000 m LRF
A built-in laser rangefinder measures distances out to 1000 metres, providing immediate range information during observation.
The H35R also supports ballistic calculation, combining distance measurement with additional ballistic reference data.
Compact binocular design
Despite integrating several imaging technologies, the OMNI retains a familiar and compact binocular form.
Its magnesium-alloy housing and anti-slip exterior provide a robust construction and secure grip for outdoor conditions.
Dimensions are 198 × 144 × 75 mm, with a weight of approximately 900 g without batteries.
Power comes from an internal battery plus two replaceable 18650 batteries, offering up to approximately 7.5 hours of operating time. Polarity-free battery insertion makes replacement easier even when visibility is limited.
The H35R also includes 64 GB of internal memory, Wi-Fi and app connectivity, and N-Link support.
