The PS400 is one of the best thermal cameras in this resolution category. The sensor resolution of 384x288 enables the immediate detection, accurate measurement and selection of overheating of electrical and mechanical surfaces on the 5-inch, 1280*720 pixel resolution touch screen, which has excellent brightness even in daylight conditions. Thanks to the ergonomic design of the device, the display can be rotated, so any surface can be conveniently examined with it. Its own viewfinder also has an excellent image, as the manufacturer has installed an LCOS monitor with a resolution of 1280x960 pixels. The Android system running on the camera makes it possible not only to use it simply as a thermal camera, but also to function as a mobile terminal on which many applications can be run.
The device works with an accuracy of +/-2°C or +/-2% in the following temperature intervals:
-40 - +150°C / +100 - 800°C / 700 - 2000°C (in the temperature range of 0 and +100°C up to +/- 0.5°C)
As a professional device, it can provide measurement data at up to 12 different points, along 12 lines, or in 12 different areas at the same time, while the damage can also continuously follow 2 points - all this by compensating for the current atmospheric data. Its emissivity can be adjusted from 0.01 to 1.1.

Rotatable display

Multiple types of image display: thermal image and real video
The PS400 is capable of displaying the thermal image and the real video image separately. In addition, it can be used in PIP (picture in picture) and MIF modes. In PIP mode, the real image is also displayed on the thermal image in a smaller window, so you can compare the examination points of the visible and the thermal image. In MIF mode, the thermal image and the real image are combined by software, so that, for example, different inscriptions or details that give a homogeneous thermal image, but in reality separate details on the image, remain visible. Both the heat and the real image can be saved to the memory card in parallel.
Changeable lenses
It has a 5 mm germanium lens, to which a large camera1 telephoto lens can be optionally purchased. It has automatic and electronic focusing. The lens of the device can also be rotated.
