A high-sensitivity passive infrared motion sensor (PIR) focuses the camera on any human or animal movement, and then takes high-resolution images or videos of the area.
The device uses the most advanced technology and records up to 30 MP images and 4K videos with sound on an SD card. The completed images can be viewed on the spot in seconds from the camera's menu or via a USB connection, e.g. they can be saved on a laptop or tablet.
It can be set to take pictures or video without motion activation at certain intervals (time-lapse). Manual image recording is also possible.
During the day, under suitable lighting conditions, it takes color pictures and at night, and under poor lighting conditions, with the built-in infrared flash, and black-and-white pictures and videos. The camera has an LED flash containing infrared LEDs invisible to the human eye.
Its power consumption is low, with 8 new AA ("pencil") batteries, the camera can operate for up to 3-6 months. The device is weatherproof (precipitation and temperature factors).
